Kia Optima, Three Generations of Elegance – The Car of the Powerful Men

The mid size sedan Kia Optima is manufactured by Kia Motors. There are three generations of this car. First one has been launched in 2001 and manufactured until 2005. The second generation of Kia Optima saw the showrooms in 2005 and stops from being manufactured in 2010. The last and third generation is the 2011 model which is stolen produced.

In Europe, the official launch of the 2011 model has been made later due to huge success in the U.S. and Russia. Kia Optima was created specifically for these markets plus the Asian emerging markets.

Estimates show that by the end of 2013 D segment reached approximately 5.1 million units, up from previous years. Only after the launch of a new power-train manufacturing Diesel 1.7L / 136 hp, EURO 5, to complete the range of engines 2.0L and 2.4L gasoline fuel, this model has become competitive on the European market segment D.

In launching the new model Kia focused on passenger comfort, especially the driver. It has the biggest legroom and head room of its class party.
